He served as a member of the American Bar Association Board of Governors on two occasions. The first was from 1985 – 1988, and he was vice-chairman of the Board Finance Committee for l987 – 1988. His second term began twenty years later, as the District 6 member of the ABA Board of Governors for a term from 2008 to 2011. He served as the chair of the Finance Committee and a member of the Executive Committee for 2009-2010.
He served as chairman of the ABA Special Committee on Meetings and Travel from 1988-90, and he served as the chairman of the ABA Standing Committee on Meetings and Travel for 1990-92. He served as the chairman of the ABA Task Force on Outreach to the Public for 1988 – 1989. He served as the chair of the ABA Standing Committee on Public Education for 1996-97. He is a former chair of the ABA Commission on Public Understanding About the Law. He was the chair of the ABA Committee on Scope & Correlation of Work for 1997-98.
He is a past member of the Board of Editors for the ABA Journal.
International Academy of Mediators – He is a Distinguished Fellow of the International Academy of Mediators, and he served as the president of that organization for the 2011-2012 term.
Tennessee Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission – He is a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission of the Tennessee Supreme Court (2002-2013).
He is a member of the American College of Civil Trial Mediators (ACCTM), the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals (NADN), the Tennessee Academy of Mediators and Arbitrators (TAMA) and the Tennessee Association of Professional Mediators (TAPM)
American, Knoxville and Tennessee Bar Foundations – He is a former member of the Board of Trustees for the Tennessee Bar Foundation, and he served as Chair of the Board for 2007-2008. He is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, Knoxville Bar Foundation and Tennessee Bar Foundation.
American Bar Endowment – He is a member of the American Bar Endowment Board of Directors.
He is a member of the Founders of the Supreme Court of Tennessee Historical Society.
SERVICE TO THE PUBLIC AND THE COMMUNITY
Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority Board of Commissioners – He is a member of the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority Board of Commissioners, and currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners.
He was a member of the Leadership Knoxville Class of 1995.
Mr. Vogel participated as a member of the Domestic and International Law Commission at the US/USSR Emerging Leaders Summit in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in December of 1988.
He is a former chairman of the Board of Directors of the Knoxville Dogwood Arts Festival.
AWARDS AND RECOGNITION
He is a member of the American Law Institute.
He has repeatedly been selected for recognition among the “Best Lawyers” of Tennessee and America.
In December of 2007, he was presented with the Knoxville Bar Association’s Governors Award.
In June of 2011 he was given the William M. Leech, Jr. Public Service Award by the Tennessee Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.

Daniel is a Tennessee native having grown up in Kingsport, Tennessee. Daniel started his career by pursuing his dream of golf course management by first earning his associates degree in Turfgrass Management with a specialization in Golf Courses from Sandhills Community College and a Bachelor degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Tennessee. Within a short period of time Daniel realized that golf course management was not what he had hoped and sought to pursue his other interest of becoming an attorney. He applied and was accepted into law school and graduated from the University of Dayton School Of Law, Dayton, OH.
Daniel has had the pleasure of working for Dennis H. Inman, Chief United States Magistrate judge for the Eastern District of Tennessee, as well as working for Judge William J. Haynes, Jr., United Stated District Court for Middle District of Tennessee. He began his career as an attorney at Howell & Fisher, PLLC in Nashville, TN, where he practiced in the areas of worker’s compensation defense, municipal liability defense, and medical malpractice defense. After a few years Daniel was presented an opportunity to move closer to family and get back to East Tennessee.
Although Daniel has had the opportunity to live in many different beautiful areas of the country he chose to remain in East Tennessee to enjoy its splendor and be close to family. He enjoys spending time with his daughter, following Tennessee sports, playing golf and boating
Anastacia grew up in Wadsworth, Ohio, spent a few years in Nairobi, Kenya due to family job requirements, and after moving back to the USA her family settled in Flower Mound, Texas before she went off to college.
Anastacia graduated from Texas Tech University majoring in Biology and Chemistry thinking she was going to become a medical doctor. But, after marriage and children she put that dream on hold and was a personal trainer and Program Director for a major fitness club in Knoxville. As life was unfolding for her she saw a need for legal services and decided to apply to the University of Tennessee Law School and was accepted. She ran a successful solo-practice for 11 years, representing clients regarding family and criminal issues. She feels her most significant accomplishment was the work-life transition into an entirely new field of law.
Anastacia is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, Knoxville Bar Association, Knoxville Inner City Kids Outreach, and Lost Sheep Ministries. Anastacia is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Tennessee.
Anastacia has chosen to stay in East Tennessee because this is where her children are, the beauty and the close proximity to the beach as well as areas to snow ski. She is very athletic and enjoys her horse, Ruby, snow skiing, working out, and spending time with her husband and children.
Anastacia has been married to Ronnie since 2006, has a son, Ben, and a daughter, Skylar.
Ryan is a Nashville native. Ryan received his law degree in 2004 from the University of Tennessee, where he served as Publications Editor for Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law. He also earned his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the University of Tennessee.
Ryan began his career and spent seven years with Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, one of the largest firms in Chattanooga. While with Chambliss, Ryan worked in a broad variety of litigations matters, most notably including medical malpractice and long-term care defense, product liability defense, and commercial litigation, in courts all across Tennessee. Through this practice, Ryan developed significant experience with alternative dispute resolution mechanisms and appellate practice, including two significant cases before the Tennessee Supreme Court. The highlight of Ryan’s career was obtaining a defense verdict in his first trial, a case against one of Tennessee’s most recognized firms. Ryan is presently a member of the Tennessee and Kentucky bars, the Tennessee and Nashville Bar Associations, and the Belmont University College of Law American Inn of Court. Ryan was previously involved with the Defense Research Institute and the Memphis Bar Association.
Ryan has also given multiple presentations during his legal career, speaking on the defense of long-term care cases and the enforcement of arbitration agreements. Most recently, Ryan presented a day long mock trial during the Tennessee Trucking Association’s 2011 Annual Convention and presented a seminar regarding Tennessee’s workers compensation laws to an insurer in Georgia.
Ryan is married to Rebekah, who is an elementary school teacher, and has no children. Ryan enjoys following Vanderbilt athletics and the Pittsburgh Steelers as well as playing tennis, golf, and bowling.
