Our Nashville law office is located in the heart of downtown Nashville. The office opened in 2009 in the Fifth Third Center and recently expanded in 2012.
Music City, as Nashville is affectionately known, is home to the Grand Ole Opry and the Country Music Hall of Fame. Ryman Auditorium, known as "The Mother Church of Country Music", is just down the street from our office.
We enjoy easy access to restaurants and shopping downtown, including a range of choices from barbeque, like Puckett's Gro & Restaurant, to Italian and everything in between. Our office is also surrounded by galleries if you want to get a little shopping in while you are here.
Music City's night life is just blocks away and no visit is complete until you check out the world-famous Tootsie's Orchid Lounge. A popular hangout for Nashville's country music crowd, you never know which musician may show up and play for the crowd. For late night bites, don't miss B.B. King's Blues Club & Restaurant for great music and barbeque.
A short distance from our office is Vanderbilt University, a Southeastern Conference school and home to the Commodores. If you want to check out sports in the downtown area, the Nashville Predators and the Tennessee Titans both play within walking distance of our office.
Bright lights, good food and great music! All can be found within minutes of our Nashville law office.

GSRM’s former partners have also received appointments to governmental positions, such as General Counsel to the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Attorney General of the State of Tennessee, and General Counsel to the Vice President of the United States.
The firm’s tradition of service continues today as members of the firm:

 ABOUT U
Most public school students in Tennessee have no Tennessee history or civics textbook, even though students in about half of the grades are required to learn parts of the subject every school year. Because of this, it is more important than ever that students have a place to go for information on Tennessee history.
Tennessee History for Kids was organized in November 2004 for the purpose of improving this situation. Step one was to research, write, and produce this web site. Since that time we have expanded to include email alerts, posters, videos and, most recently, Tennessee history "textbooklets" that teachers use in class.
Today, about 6,000 teachers use Tennessee History for Kids. Many of them have nice things to say about Tennessee History for Kids. Click here to read some of those quotes.

History of the Tennessee Women’s Political Caucus
The Tennessee Women’s Political Caucus was begun in the living rooms of a handful of women with a vision of women becoming more involved in the political process.  The purpose of the Caucus at that time is well stated by Marietta Shipley, Retired Judge of the Second Circuit Court of Davidson County, “The reason we wanted the Caucus to go forward was because we wanted to get women actually involved in politics, running campaigns and running for office.  We needed to get  out of the back room licking stamps and stuffing envelopes and on the front side running campaigns, running for office and running campaigns for women running for office”.
(Please allow several minutes for the movie to load)
This short film (about 10 minutes) was the brainchild of Yvonne Wood as the Chair of the 25th Anniversary of the Nashville WPC, in 1999.  It offers a brief historical overview of the Caucus as told in the words of the women leaders who helped make the Caucus what it is today.
