The Sarasota law firm of Matthews Eastmoore takes particular pride in its frequent role as "lawyers' lawyers" as the firm has had the honor of providing legal services to many of the area's attorneys and law firms finding themselves personally involved in litigation. Matthews Eastmoore also provides legal services to a variety of governmental clients including the School Board of Sarasota County to which Lamar Matthews has served as general counsel since 1986. Jason E. Holland was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois on January 17, 1971 and lived in south suburban Chicago until 1985.  He then moved with his parents, Bill and Anita Holland, to Eddyville, Kentucky where he graduated from Lyon County High School in 1989.  He attended Murray State University where he received a double major in Political Science and Criminal Justice in 1994.  While at MSU he served as Vice President and President of the MSU Student Law Association and was a member of Alpha Tau Omega social fraternity.  In 1997 Jason earned his law degree from Mississippi College School of Law, in Jackson, Mississippi.  While at Mississippi College, he was a member of Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity.  Jason was admitted to the Kentucky Bar Association in 1998.  He is admitted to practice in all state courts in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, both the Eastern and Western Districts of Federal Court in Kentucky and before the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Jason has dedicated his legal career to helping people with bankruptcy, personal injuries and with criminal law, both as a defense lawyer and a prosecutor.  However, he has a wealth of experience in many other areas of the law.  He has served as the City Attorney for the city of Oak Grove since 1998.  He also serves as counsel for several local and area businesses, including, but not limited to, Heritage Bank, Lee Brick and Block, Marsh Industrial Warehouses, General Motors, and West Kentucky Collections.  He has served as corporate counsel for Pennyroyal Hospice since 2005. He also offers pro bono legal services for the Christian County Humane Society.
Jason is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, Kentucky Association of Trial Lawyers and the Christian County Bar Association. He served as President of the Christian County Bar Association from 2007-2009.  
Jason resides in Hopkinsville with his wife Heather, their daughter Hannah Jane, their bulldog, Hallie-George and their shih-tzu Gabby. He enjoys spending time with his family, watching his beloved Chicago Bears, St. Louis Cardinals and Kentucky Wildcats, exercising, and playing golf.  Jason is an avid reader, principally of legal thrillers and mysteries.  He is the author of the mystery/thriller novel, "Honor Thy Father", and has begun writing an as yet-untitled second novel.  The Hollands are members of Hopkinsville's First United Methodist Church.

New Jersey Session Laws Online (at Rutgers-Camden Law Library). This is a browsable but not searchable collection of legislative acts, digitized from microform. Coverage is 1776-1999. In order to retrieve a particular law efficiently, you need to know the year and page number (retrieval by chapter number is not possible). Page images can be printed or downloaded: position cursor near top left of image to make ikons for printing or downloading appear. (Note for Rutgers-Newark Law School community: the New Jersey session laws from 1776 to 2008 are available in fully searchable PDF format in HeinOnline.)
